CONGRATS TO RICKY BRANTLEY

Stormy Skies greeted the 9 th Annual O’Reilly Auto-Parts 4-Wheel Jamboree in Springfield, MO this weekend. The event started on Saturday with gloomy weather and sloppy conditions. From all over the United States came the top racers in the Modified Tough Truck division to battle it out in this 2 nd event of the 2006 series. Each driver faced a dangerously slick track on Saturday as the rain slammed down. With the “Chicago Style” track layout being used, it was patience in the sweeping corners that helped most drivers. Top Qualifier for the weekend was Autumn Woods Racing’s Jeff Dedick.

Sunday started on a much brighter note as the sun began to peek out and the rain began to dry. The smell of race fuel and the harmony of high horsepower engines engulfed the pits. Sundays Semi-Finals brought Lionel Easler and John Jungeblut together as well as Ricky Brantley and Mark Noto together. Easler and Brantley moved forward into the Final Round of competition with Brantley taking the Win! This is Brantley’s second event as driver of an AWR truck. In Fredericksburg, TX. last month, Ricky took a 2 nd place finish against Jason Makuch’s Dynomax Ford. Great Job Ricky!
